Opening Night Cast:
Director Set
Construction Lighting
Synopsis: Opening Night is the story of an unusual evening at the theatre. Ruth Tisdale has lucked into a pair of tickets to the opening night performance of a new Canadian play, and she drags her husband Jack to the theatre as a way to celebrate their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. Jack, however would rather be at home watching the seventh game of the World Series on television. It's
opening night of director Richard Hyde-Finch's new production, and there
is more action in the audience than there is on stage. Richard finds
himself contending with a jealous girlfriend, an ingenue who can't remember
her lines, an actor lobbying for a role in Richard's next production,
and a waiter who's really an aspiring actor. This Canadian play is a
funny, gentle look at human relationships. Gallery of Pictures
